N 바람[열풍]이 불다usage
a wave of N; an N craze
This expression likens a trend, social movement, investment craze, or other phenomenon that attracts many people at once to a wind blowing. 열풍 suggests much greater intensity and excitement than 바람. N 바람을 타다 means to ride that wave and benefit from it. The expression is common in news articles and reports; in conversation, speakers also often say 요즘 N이/가 유행이다.
