A/V-기에usage

because

The first clause gives the reason for the judgment or action in the second, suggesting that the speaker assessed the situation before responding. It is mainly used in writing or formal speech; in everyday conversation, -아서/어서 or -길래 is more common. The second clause cannot be a command or suggestion.
