안usage
inside
안 refers to an enclosed interior space, as in 가방 안 and 방 안. With particles, 안에 marks presence inside, 안으로 marks movement into the interior, and 안에서 marks an action taking place there. It can also mark a time limit or the limit of a range, as in 삼 일 안에.
